How long have you been developing with PHP?

I'm a PHP n00b, but I've been programming for the past 30 years both professionally and as a hobby.

Do you consider yourself a front-end or back-end developer?

Both, but more of a back end developer since I've had to rewrite alot of other peoples code.

What do you hope to learn from the members of this group?

Where all the curly braces go :)

What topics would you like to discuss?

Persistance of data, and why are we still using a stateless web?

I've been writing code since the early 80's. It's something that I love to do. Basic has been my primary language, mostly procedural basic but I've worked with many dialects. I would really like to jump in with both feet and learn PHP.
