Why do Cat’s Eyes Glow in the Dark?

Come discover plants and animals of the night! Cat’s eyes actually reflect light, while some objects will fluoresce, others luminescent and some even bioluminescent! This class begins indoors with demonstrations and discussions of the plant and animal communities that have different light reflecting and absorbing characteristics. Then it’s outside to discover the world of Point Reyes with blacklights to better see the creatures of the night.
