Sturdy Dirty Enduro **Women Only**

This is a womens only Enduro event. Men are welcome to help with the course volunteer stuff. Details as below:
The Event: The Sturdy Bitch Racing team is partnering with Friends of Capitol Forest, Cascadia Dirt Cup and Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance to put together the first EVER women-only mountain bike enduro race in Washington State. The race will be interspersed with timed sections, trail riding, and aid stations manned by costumed volunteers serving up novel items like bacon shots, dance parties and mini-massage. The course will be challenging enough that seasoned racers will enjoy it, but easy enough for new racers to get a flavor of what enduro racing is like without being intimidated. We’ll also be serving up a lot of F-U-N.

After the race, the revelry will continue with an “after party,” where we’ll serve food and beverages, announce awards, thank our individual partners and sponsors, and raffle off swag. This is a perfect opportunity for racers to connect with other riders, check out products on display and gather information about upcoming race events. The race will be in Capitol Forest, near Olympia, Washington on June 14, 2014

Take I-5 to Hwy 101 North, take the Black Lake Blvd exit off of hwy 101, turn left onto Black Lake Blvd. Turn left onto Delphi Rd. Turn right onto Waddell Creek Rd. Stay on Waddell Creek Rd (which turns into Sherman Valley Rd) until you reach gravel (C-Line Rd). Continue up on C-Line until you reach C-6000 road on your left. Follow C-6000 into the start area of Fall Creek parking area. There will be signs for the race event to follow once you are in the forest.
