verde river run

Details

We will meet at the McDonald's noted above at 7 A.M. to go up to White Bridge.

If the water flow rate is too low, may do Watson Lake as an alternative.

We will be going from White Bridge to Beasley Flats.

We will check on the flow rate close to the date of the event to determine whether we will go or not.

It is very important that you have had prior paddling experience or experience with a wet exit. There are strainers on this stretch of the river, meaning tree branches reaching out over the fast moving water that you can get caught up in. The challenges of this river are at the class II range, and it is a step up in difficulty from the Lower Salt.

Please call me if you have questions about your readiness for running this event at[masked].

Expect to be at White Bridge around 9 A.M.

Here is a map to White Bridge (some cars will be parked at Beasley Flats for the shuttle).
