Pagans of Portlandia Monthly Meetup

  • Oct 16, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This Meetup is now held on the THIRD Wednesday of every month, still at Chinese Village at SE 82nd and Stark. You can take the MAX to the 82nd stop, and take the bus just a short way south on 82nd to Chinese Village. It takes up a whole block, so it's hard to miss. The food is good here, stuff for vegetarians and vegans, as well as omnivores. Depending on how many people we have scheduled, we can either have the banquet room, or pull two big tables together. For those of us who drive -- there is a lot of free parking; it's close to I-205 and I-84. Here is your opportunity to sit and chat and meet new Pagans. We have no agenda, no topic, no rules, no hierarchies, no attitudes. We're just friendly and silly and will try to make you feel comfortable with us. There are plenty of classes and rituals and other places where you can't just sit and talk about anything with other Pagan friends. We're not like that. If you WANT to have a serious conversation with someone at our Meetup, there might be someone who also wants to have a serious conversation with you. There might not be someone there that night, or they might want to be silly that night, but just because we're silly doesn't mean we're fluffy. Make connections, make new friends, network, laugh, giggle, cackle, delve deeply ... we never know what's going to happen from one Meetup to the next. The event itself is, as always, free, but since we are meeting at a commercial establishment, it is proper to buy something to eat. Hope you can make it.
