She has more than 20 years of implementation and consulting experience in all aspects of program development and management of analytics applications, on both the business and technology side, for companies of various sizes and industries around the globe. Immediately prior to launching her practice in 2018, she managed programs for Facebook's BI platforms team and prior to that worked for an array of analytics technology and consulting companies. Her passion is about helping clients get the most out of their investment of time, money, and resources to build forward thinking applications that users want and like to use. Ravi Kulasekaran is a serial entrepreneur. His current venture is Colabus, a company that provides a digital workplace for teams to achieve their digital transformation goals. Colabus provides collaboration intelligence from intelligent collaboration using AI techniques to ensure projects never fail. Prior to this, Ravi founded Stridus Inc., a company that built Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance software; Adtvworld, a company that had patented technology in the advertising space. Ravi was founder and CEO of Appshop, a highly successful ASP for Oracle Applications that was acquired by AT&T and is currently part of IBM. Ravi also founded Simplify Consulting; a turnkey systems integrator for ERP deployments. Ravi holds a M.S in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering, India.

    Introduction to Docker! Meetup at the Learning Center at Maude and Mathilda. The Learning Center has limited space. If you land on the WaitList, you might be able to RSVP at this URL: meetup.com/cs101a Docker is software which can help you distribute software across a cluster. This class introduces you to Docker. We start by showing you how to start a host on Google-Cloud which has Docker installed. Next we show you some of the simple ways that Docker can be operated. After you understand simple Docker operations, we will help you attempt installation of Docker on your laptop. Installing Docker on Mac is usually easy. Installing Docker on windows can be difficult. If you have problems installing or running Docker on your laptop, it is best to just run Docker on Google-Cloud. In order to use Google-Cloud you will need a gmail account and a credit card. Google will give you a $300 credit so you can learn how to run Docker and other software on Google-Cloud. We will show you how to get that $300 credit and start using your Google-Cloud account.
