Overcoming shyness, for young adults (20 - 35 years)
The first session will be just to know each other. Anyone who is comfortable can talk about some of the difficulties he or she faces because of shyness in social settings. If you just want to listen, that's fine too. In time and during future sessions, hopefully we all get comfortable enough to talk about our shyness issues and how it is impacting us. As time goes on we can help each other come up with solutions. If interested, I will help you do some role playing so you can practice some of the solutions we come up with in a safe environment and with positive, constructive feedback, making it easier to take the experience to the real world. Ultimately, the goal is to build a little community where we can be there for each other dealing with our shyness issues.

What we're about

This meet up is to help people who, as a result of their shyness, are struggling to make friends and be comfortable around people. By getting together, the group will support and help each other through sharing, listening, offering solutions, and role playing reduce their shyness and extend it to the real world.
