James has spent the last 20 years creating innovative customer-centric campaigns and experiences that connect people and brands to drive sales. At QVC, James helped QVC.com become the #3 e-commerce general merchant, authoring their first social media strategy, launching online video, working with legends like Joan Rivers, and selling a staggering quantity of candied apples, embroidered sweaters, pilates machines and everything else you can imagine. During his tenure at Accenture, he authored an ECM strategy for Cargill, helped United Airlines monetize their value chain, and brought BestBuy's user experience to Future Shop. He went on to join Aflac as their VP of Integrated Marketing, where he brought cross-channel to all of their audiences, taught the Aflac Duck to use social media, relaunched the Aflac brand, found a new voice for the Aflac Duck, and won two Webbys along the way. Following Aflac, James led digital at Alfred Angelo, rebuilding the marketing team and rebooting the global marketing capability across the web, social, mobile, CRM, local, advertising, and omnichannel. Most recently, James was Vice President of Digital Marketing for Randstad, where he relaunched the Randstad brand, redefined their marketing capability, authored their integrated marketing strategy, and sang karaoke that one time.
