#5-16: Destiny of the Sands Part 3: Sanctum of the Sages (3-7)

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3–7.

Uncovering the secrets of a Jeweled Sage reveals that the others are in grave danger, and the PCs set off after notorious jewel thieves before the criminals can disappear with another priceless treasure. When the trail leads to the sages’ hidden sanctum deep within the Pillars of the Sun, the Pathfinders must draw upon both their own resourcefulness and the ancient historians’ power if they are to preserve a millennia-old organization and Osirion’s past.

“Sanctum of the Sages” is the final scenario in the three-part Destiny of the Sands campaign arc. It follows #5–12: Destiny of the Sands Part 1: "A Bitter Bargain" and #5–15: Destiny of the Sands Part 2: "Race to Seeker’s Folly." All three chapters are intended to be played in order.

Content in “Sanctum of the Sages” also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Osirion faction.

Thanks everyone for a great game. I don't want to embarrass anyone by calling them out specifically but I can say something flattering/complimentary about each of you. Y'all all handled the extra mythic mechanics like champions. I really appreciate it... those mechanics could easily have added an hour or more of game time. It was a pleasure to have you all at my table.

I hope to see you all again real soon. I'm going to attempt to run We Be Goblins Too (run with Level 3 pre-gen goblins that generates credit that can be applied to a character from lvl 2-4 on the 17th.

Woo! The Long awaited Part III. It looks like 3 of 6 were at my table of Parts I and II. Scott, I don't remember which character you played remind me please. Andrew, Josh, and Josh's +1, what are y'all intending to play?
You'll be joined with Tamor - Gunslinger 3 (or 4?) and Trevisa - Ranger 4 (and the long awaited pet).
Josh and Andrew, welcome. Josh, it looks like you'll be either a Paladin or Alchemist 3.

Part III has the potential to be exceedingly complicated.
First: Is anyone that has played Parts I and II going to be using actual mythic tiers from the book or will you merely be using the certs gained from part II? (Note: I don't have the book, and don't intend to purchase it.)
Second: I'm re-reading up on Part III and the warnings are that "it runs long" so please be ready to start at noon. It would be even better if you can arrive sooner (we have the room from 1130) to go over mythic mechanics.
Third: I'm studying now so I'll probably have more questions. Feel free to ask me questions ahead of time and I'll do my best to answer.
