  • Websters Motorcycle Swap Meet

    WAWA

Do you have unwanted motorcycle parts just laying around your house, parts you will never ever use again? If so, would you like to see if you can sell them and pocket the cash? If your answers were “yes” and “yes”, Sunday May 5th 2019 might be your answer. STAR and I will be setting up a table at Websters motorcycle Swap Meet, that day. We have many unwanted motorcycle items laying about around our house, so we figured “why not” try to get rid of as much as we can and recoup some money as well. We invite each of you to one, come along and set up items on our table or on a tarp. Or two, you can drop items off at our house up until May 4th, 2019, place a tag on the item stating your name and how much you want for it (also helpful will be a final amount of how low in price you are willing to go below the tagged price; if at all). STAR and I will keep a log of rider’s items, price as well as your final (lowest price). This would also be a great ride for riders to ride up to Webster and check out other motorcycle related items. If you have not been to Websters before and are not sure where it is and how to get there, you are welcomed to ride behind our vehicle and follow us. Websters is truly the Swap Meet where the “early bird gets the worm”, so we will be departing north to Websters at 6:30am (over and hour ride north). For others who have been there and departing at 6:30am is way too early for you, and you desire to ride up there that day, please, someone take charge and get the group up there safely. Once Websters is over and we sold your item(s), we also invite you to stop by our home and pickup your cash as well as any unsold items. Or, if we sold all of your stuff, you can wait until the next ride you attend, and we will give you your cash then.

  • Tin Butt ride from Tampa to Everglades and Back!

    301 Family Restaurant

    $30.00

If you are looking for a personal challenge of a long and epic ride, join us on April 6th for a Tin Butt ride from Tampa to the Everglades and back! The Tin Butt Association certifies rides as a qualifying Tin Butt if they are completed on 2 (or 3) wheels in 12 contiguous hours or less. We will conduct this ride as a group Tin Butt, so the timing and tracking will be completed by the leader, and you do not have to worry about logging or photos to qualify. If you participate on this ride, in its entirety with us, you will have the qualifiers of distance and time accounted for. We will meet at the 301 Family Diner with a KSU of 8 am. (Please arrive early if you plan to eat, and a bit before 8 even if you are not. Arrive with a full tank of gas.) From there, we will take a route that is almost entirely interstate with a gas stop in Sarasota, another in Bonita Springs, and we will stop for lunch at the Miccosukee Restaurant in the Everglades. We will turn around and do that in reverse to return to Brandon, FL within 12 hours. For $30, you can ride with us, and upon completion receive a Tin Butt pin, a certificate of completion, and a Tin Butt motorcycle license plate frame. If you have a passenger, they can also receive a pin and certification for $10 more. (If you need it mailed to you the postage would be added.) Please come along for a Florida Tin Butt. If you do, you will also have enjoyed a full day of riding, during which you will have earned new bragging rights that you met the challenge - and maybe even made a few friends along the way!
