Art of Cool Festival Focus Group:Festival Date/Format/Footprint

The Art of Cool Project is on a quest to bring a live music festival to downtown Durham. In order to get the community's input we are hosting focus groups in the months of October-December, 2012. All of the focus groups will be located in the large classroom at American Tobacco Underground and will be held from 7pm-8pm. We will extend to 8:30pm if extra time is needed. Come out and give us your two cents.

Our first focus group will address festival date, format and footprint considerations. This event is open to the public. Anyone interested in helping AOCP lock down a date, format and footprint are welcome. Specifically we will be talking about issues concerning:
1. Picking the right date
2. Essential festival highlights
3. How large the footprint should be
4. Free versus ticketed events
Co-moderated by Greg Lowenhagen, Director of Hopscotch; Marc Lee, AOCP board member, Hayti Heritage, WNCU radio announcer/emcee
