Qigong class


Qigong can be described as a standing meditation and is ideal for people who struggle at times to sit to meditate. Tai Chi is a form of Qigong and can be described as a moving meditation.

Qigong (“chi-Kung”) is a traditional Chinese health method that combines slow graceful movements with mental concentration and breathing to increase and balance a person’s vital energy. It has been popularly referred to as Chinese yoga.
​Qi (or chi) is often translated as life energy, referring to energy circulating through the body and Gong (or kung) is often translated as cultivation or work. The two words are combined to describe a practice to cultivate and balance life energy.
