What we're about

***Changes Due To Covid-19:

***During this time of COVID-19, I will slowly start to post some early local weekday hikes. Why weekdays you ask? So, to avoid the crowds on the weekends for now. We’ll see how that goes and work our way up to weekends when we are ready. The groups will be kept small to start until I am comfortable with social distancing with a larger group. There will be no Guests, everyone will have to sign up on their own.

***Everyone is required to “bring” a mask for the hikes that can easily be pulled on when needed. A mask can be a formal mask, a fabric mask, a Buff or a bandanna. What it can’t be is pulling up your shirt over your face. If you show up without a type of mask, you will be asked to leave. This is “our” rule for the health and safety of you and your fellow members, not per the Park’s rules. The mask is to be worn when you are unable to maintain social distance of 6 feet from others- this may be in the parking lot, when passing someone on the trail or if you are having a conversation with a fellow hiker. You will not be continually hiking with the mask as long as you are able maintain 6 feet from others. If you came with someone, and you both agree, that is the exception for not wearing a mask in close distance to them. If you are unable to adhere to the above during the event, you will be politely asked to leave.

***By signing up you are acknowledging and agreeing to the above in addition to our already existing Disclaimer/Liability Waiver.

***This is a new and strange time for everyone and I am sure things will change as time goes on. Until then, stay safe and happy hiking!!!
