Pilates is for anyone interested in their functional fitness. It is a full body programme focused on the deep core stabiliser muscles. Class focus is placed on controlled movements performed in a fluid and balanced way to improve strength, mobility, flexibility, and coordination when practiced regularly.

Nordic Walking is the perfect complementary partner to Pilates adding a cardio element to your exercise. Nordic Walking uses specially designed poles to enhance your natural walking experience. With a technique that is similar to the upper body action of classic cross-country skiing, Nordic Walking becomes a whole body exercise that can be enjoyed at any level. Nordic Walking Part 1 Learn to Nordic Walk (First 5 Steps)

Learn the first 5 steps of the British Nordic Walking technique. Three weeks, Saturdays 9th 16th and 23rd March, one hour 10am-11am. £15 for the course, poles provided. Nordic walking is a great way to exercise. Once you get the hang of the walking technique you will always want to walk with poles. More support for your joints, great for correcting posture, an upper body workout, low impact aerobic exercise. Walk at your own pace, its not a race, it is sociable, fun and friendly.
