What is your experience with the NH 4000-footers: How many have you hiked, which have been your favorites, what were your biggest challenges?

I finished the NH 4000-footers 8/26/12, 14 months after beginning this journey. My favorites include the Tripyramids, Carrigain, Lincoln and Lafayette, a North to South one day solo Presidential Traverse, our Bonds Traverse, and my final two peaks: Flume and Liberty. I had a blast on the tripyramid slides and thought the views from Carrigain were spectacular! I loved being on the ridge between Lincoln and Lafayette in winter! My most challenging hike was, hands down, a one day solo presi traverse this past Memorial Day. If you want a challenge and to really get out there, I highly recommend a hike to the Bonds! I finished with style with a hike up the flume slide to get 360 degree views on both Flume and Liberty!

What are your hiking goals?

I finished the NE67 list this past October (2013) I am currently attempting to hike all of the NH 4000-footers in winter and also the New England Hundred Highest list. I have recently become wilderness first aid certified and always looking for more learning opportunities. I also hope to have more opportunities to spend extended amounts of time outdoors and doing some more hiking outside of the country.

Do you hike all seasons?

Yes. I am hoping to finish my winter 48 list this season!

What hikes would you like to see posted?

I post mainly NH 4k hikes and sometimes add NEHH/52 WAV/ Trailwrights peaks into the mix! Please submit any hike ideas on the message board or send me an email!

Are you interested in leading your own hikes or events?

I love leading hikes :)
