DIG IT: The Winter Vegetable Garden

DIG IT is a series of fun, educational events offered the first Saturday of the month from 1-2pm where you will gain insight on a whole host of edible garden topics as we progress through the year toward a bountiful harvest.

Salad greens, kale, mustard and so much more — there is no need for your planting beds to be idle this winter. Learn what to plant now to enjoy fresh vegetables and herbs throughout the winter months.

Our monthly Edible Gardening classes hosted by Star Apple Edible + Fine Gardening offer tips and tricks to help us grow together as a community. Whether you have a bed here at the Persimmon Park Community Garden, or a home container garden, we welcome the San Mateo community to join us.

It's great that I learned soil testing is important when I replace lawn with vegetable garden.

I'm sorry I can't make it tomorrow after all. Last-minute work came down the pipe so I'll be working this weekend. I was really looking forward to attending this meetup, so I'm bummed out I can't attend. Hopefully I'll meet and see you guys next month. Enjoy tomorrow, everyone!
