Every 3rd Thursday Wine & Music Social at Chrysler Museum
245 W Olney Rd, Norfolk, VA (edit map)
The wine & music socials previously held on the first Wednesday at the Chrysler have returned. Now on the third Thursday of the month
This March, it’s Swingin’ music and Wine in the Museum. Dine at Wisteria or mingle in Huber Court with a glass of your favorite vintage and listen to the high-energy ensemble 504 Supreme, starting at 7 p.m.
Arrive early and join Museum Director Erik Neil on a gallery tour featuring some of his favorite works. His tour will begin at 6:15 p.m.
At the Glass Studio, conceptual artists Sarah Gilbert and Patrick “Pato” Hebert collaborate to create A Fragile Bubble/A Thousand Calamities. Watch as they make delicate and daring drawings with light and heat to the musical accompaniment of the Hot Gumbo Brass Band.
Third Thursday is always free for Museum Members, $5 for all others. There's a cash bar in both venues.
