What is your favorite literary book / author / period? Feel free to list more than one favorite, especially your all-time favorite.

Steve Toltz's A Fraction of the Whole

Which books have you started and never finished because they were just too dense or confusing or boring, and there was no deadline (or something similar) looming?

No answer yet

Which literary books have you read and then felt frustrated because there was no one to discuss them with? Would you like to have the group read and discuss them?

Marxist, feminist, gaze theory, post-colonial, new criticism - there are few styles and criticisms that I don't enjoy.

Would you be open to reading and discussing non-fiction books? Something like David McCullough's biographies, books on historical events, essays, poetry, etc.? If so, what are your suggestions?

Kurt Vonnegut

What books are on your "I-really-should-read-this...someday" list?

Selfishly based off of books that I'd like to reread with a group: The Life & Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Laurence Sterne; or any of the Paris Review's Interview Collections.

Introduction

I have a keen interest in pop culture. I find list making comforting. I’m adventurous, yet pragmatic. (I'm scared of heights!) I like everything about food. I walk briskly. I love my bike. I devour books for brunch.
