Saturday Morning Beginner/Intermediate Group Rides

Come join us at Scottsdale Performance Bicycle every Saturday morning for our “No Drop” Group Road Rides. We have both a Beginner and an Intermediate ride available to choose from; depending upon your riding ability/interest. While both the Beginner and Intermediate rides are open to all riders, many of the Intermediate riders were once members of our Beginner Ride who had graduated to the next level and were looking to enhance their skills and abilities on the road.

Both groups will set out from the store promptly at 8:30 AM and travel for a short distance as one group before heading out on their individual routes. Rides last approximately 2-2.5hrs. Ride times are specific to the fall/winter season.

Our Beginner Ride is designed more for the beginner rider and/or those interested in a more leisurely pace. This 15-mile ride will take us along mostly green-belt and neighborhood roads around Scottsdale. All bike styles / riding abilities are welcome.

Our Intermediate Ride is designed more for the avid bicyclist capable of averaging 12-15 miles/hour. The route changes week to week, but plan to bike a minimum 25-30 miles. The ride will take us along city streets, neighborhoods, and provide views of some of the most scenic parts of Scottsdale. Road bikes are encouraged for this ride.

This is a great opportunity to get out riding, meet some fantastic fellow riders, learn some new local ride spots, and increase your knowledge of the sport regardless of your level.

Rain Policy – We will ride in rain but will cancel in the event of lightning.

Meet at Shop: 6:30AM

REQUIRED ITEMS FOR ALL RIDES (in addition to your bike!):
