Re: [Permaculture-Network] solar in central nj

I have direct experience installing PV systems with battery backup. Maybe 15 such systems, with various b.b. inverter manufacturers such as SMA, Outback, Beacon, etc. although its been several years because I been working for a large commercial solar inegrator. I'd be happy to speak with them and provide guidance. Particularly on the contractor selection since the NJ market has become saturated with Solar Cowboys.
best regards,

i'm talking with 2 households in princeton who are looking for someone who can help them install solar systems in their homes. from my conversations with both families, they don't want the typical grid-tied system, but rather a battery bank-based setup that can provide electricity during outages. can anyone suggest someone cool and friendly, with experience and knowledge, who can either help these folks get started with a good eco-minded contractor or take on these clients. thanks!

for the earth,
