Geoph Kozenzy documentary hosted by Abe and the Northwest New Jersey Ecovillage Group.
The movie, Visions of Utopia, is 3 1/2 hours long. The first half will be shown at this event, the second half to follow at a later date.

Geoph was an active member of both the Fellowship for Intentional Communities and the Federation of Egalitarian Communities. The film follows 18 varying intentional communities throughout the world.

Intentional communities, as the name suggests, are communities of people who have come together to live with a common vision. Today many of us are looking for ways to bring more community into our lives. This documentary showcases some extraordinary visions of 'ordinary' people and tells their stories of living
and working together to build a better world. The documentary follows examples of cohousing communities, spiritual communities, communes, housing cooperatives, activist communities, and ecovillages.

This is a great opportunity to get to know others looking for community and to familiarize yourself with various types of intentional communities. Following the movie, we will talk about the NW NJ Ecovillage group, which plans to grow within Sussex County, NJ. We will discuss the vision for the ecovillage, our history, what being a co-organizer of the project entails, and our plans for the near future.

Please bring some food to share - utensils, cups and plates will be provided.
