Shabeh Cheleh Festival

"Shabeh Cheleh", Also known as "Shabeh Yalda", the longest night of the year, is a Celebration of victory of light over darkness and the renewal of the sun. This event is sponsored by Iranian American Society of Arizona. General admission for this event is $10, children or students with ID $5 and Children 6 and under can enter for free. There will be servings of pomegranates, mixed nuts, cheese/bread with tea and sweats. Seating will probably be limited so show up early.

    Although the gathering started a little slow, it got better as time progressed. There was poetry, laugter, singing and live classical Persian music. So, all in all, it was pretty good. I wish I could have seen more of you there. Many Cheers:))
