What we're about

“We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.”

This group is for anyone who wants to discover more about him or herself, who is looking for solutions for a personal or social problem, who wants to improve empathy and/ or communication, or who is simply interested in people.

Encounter groups are people talking in a room for a couple of hours. There's a special trick: one person talks and the others listen. ;)

People usually go to person centered groups with the intention to express their opinions, their thoughts, their deepest emotions, to listen to others, to work on their personal life issues, to find possible solutions to social, religious or cultural problems together with their group mates.
During the intensive group work an atmosphere of trust is built up by the participants who feel more and more encouraged to open up, to loosen and get rid of their masks and roles, to have more sincere and straightforward communication.
The more time group members spend together, the more they dare to get confronted instead of avoiding conflicts, and - all at the same time- the more they are able to understand and accept themselves and the others.

An Encounter Group is a great place to bring friends that you want to know better, or get closer to — or to meet someone new!

A group where you You can choose to be the center of attention, take a backseat, or play from somewhere in the middle.
"You decide, moment-by-moment, who you are to others; magic happens when we do that together."
