• Scarborough to Mettams Pool Coastal Footpath Walk & Optional Dinner

    ON EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING: Meeting at 6.15pm Sharp outside the Peter's By The Sea Greek Restaurant (50 metres north of Rendezvous Observation City Hotel) in Scarborough on the Scarborough cappuccino strip, next to the car park on the sea side of Rendezvous Observation City Hotel. Start walking at 6.30pm Sharp on the footpath north to Mettams Pool & return to Scarborough for optional Dinner/Drinks/Coffees. Please park 100 metres north of the Restaurant in front of Observation Rise Apartments. Distance = 3km each way = 6kms total. Walk will be at an Easy pace. Please wear good walking shoes & bring water, jacket & torch. Walk is still on if raining - if so, Please bring rain coat. Several other walkers from my other walking club will also be joining us.   • Walk - Applecross foreshore to Heathcote

    East Court Property Group

    We will be starting at the East Court Property Group which has parking available after business hours on Conon Road (opposite the The Quarter Acre Hotel and Ardross Tyre Service) We will be meeting for 5:45pm for a no nonsense start at 6pm. The walk encompasses a lovely relaxing walk along Lucky Bay toward Dundas Point and Point Heathcote then return back through the back streets to Riseley shopping precinct for meal. Depending on our speed this walk is just about an hour and a half long. People are welcome to stay for coffee or a meal (or both). This walk enables easy access points for people using buses that service the public to and from Fremantle and Perth (via Canning Bridge Train Station). If you are interested, then come and join us

  • Deep Water Point to Heathcote Walk

    Deep Water POINT, The Park to the right of the boat ramp as look at water

    MEETING EVERY MONDAY EVENING, INCLUDING PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. Please place your attendance. We meet at 5:50pm and set off at 6pm. We walk along the Canning River on the Mt Pleasant foreshore towards Canning Bridge, passing the Raffles hotel and South of Perth Yacht Club and up to the Heathcote precinct & returning back along the same way. The walk is excepted to take no longer than an hour and a half. You are welcome to join the group for a meal, drink and a chat after the walk. Public Transport to and fro, is easily accessible at either Canning Bridge Train Station or bus routes along Canning Hwy. If you are interested, then please register to come and join us.

  • Matilda Bay Walk and Perth Upmarket (optional)

    Location visible to members

    This is a beautiful spot for a walk. We will meet at 8:15 at the Bayside Kitchen and start walking at 8:30am. We’ll walk for about an hour and then we can go for coffee/cake/breakfast. For those who are interested, after coffee we will visit the Perth Upmarket across the road at UWA, which starts at 10:00am. This is a fabulous event with goods such as clothing, artworks, homewares, jewellery, skin care and gourmet food and cakes. We had a great time when we did this market in November last year.   • Coogee Beach Walk

    Coogee Beach Cafe

    This is a self hosted event - please meet and greet at specified time for scheduled walk. Meet at Coogee Beach Cafe.. (Summer)We'll walk along hard sand barefoot to Woodman's Point then back and a cuppa at the cafe for those who've got time. There's a hard path to and from if preferred. There's lots of other walkers, seagulls and hopefully sunshine on this walk. Walk is about 5ks all up. Look forward to seeing you there. (Winter) Time to bring the shoes for the path walk . Beach may be washed away and too cold. We'll walk up to and around Woodmans Point and head back for a warm cuppa at the cafe. See you there.

  • Saturday Manning Walk

    Location visible to members

    Meet at 8:15am at the front of KFC Karrawara and we start walking at 8:30am. KFC is on Manning Road at the corner of Kent street in front of the Waterford Plaza shopping center near Curtin University. We will walk down to the river and then come back via the Farmers Market on Manning where we can stop for a drink and a chat. It is about 6.5km so allow just over an hour for the walk.

  • East Fremantle Riverside Walk

    The Left Bank

    Park and start from the Left Bank and walk to Bicton Pool, catch the aura of river lights as we walk the well lit path to the jetty at Bicton then back to Left Bank for a coffee / beer / dinner for those who have time. Toilets available along the way.
