In 2018 we had a good look at our responsibilities in opening up parts of our offerings to the children and young adults that accompany a parent or family member to our classes. We love having young people and family around us, engaged and inspired, but it comes with the necessary workload from the organisers to ensure their protection and we are now happy to announce that the changes for children's access to yoga is facilitated at our Sunday yoga classes. Our other classes remain exclusively for adults.

All participants and members of the group that are under the age of 18 years old must have their parent or legal guardian complete a Student In-take Form on the minor's behalf. This registration form, coupled with our booking system, accommodates up to 10 minors on one adult's form, should you have permission to accompany a group of children to our classes. (You may also complete more than one form, however bookings of groups of children in excess of 10 are subject to spot availability). This registration form gives legal guardian's a chance to nominate another adult to attend and participate with the minor, by naming them on their form.

Alternatively, adults can attend with minors that they are not the legal guardian of, if the adult submits a Student In-take Form and uploads a signed letter of consent to it, naming all the minor/s concerned. (You can also re-submit a new form anytime).

By streamlining the registration data that you provide us, to our own booking app (and not via 3rd party systems), our teachers can securely check the names and identifying birth dates of children attending our classes to better work with parents to protect children in our community, that join our classes. This is in compliance with Child Protection Laws governing organisers in Australia. We reserve the right to verify declarations made on our forms in anyway required, including (but not limited to) performing: background police checks; reviews of publicly available court rulings; a review of the Working With Children Register and checking any other publicly available information or data collected by us to substantiate legitimacy of a guardian's legal standing.

We know that nobody likes forms but once you have completed the Student In-take Form once, you and the children you want to attend with can drop-in without any further paperwork, knowing that the teacher can quickly verify your legal standing in relation to a minor, on your booking reservation. Your co-operation in this regard is appreciated.

We only communicate directly with minors in the presence of, or by sending communications directly to, the parent/legal guardian or adult nominated on the parent's registration form.

If you are a young adult, but not quite 18 years old, have a chat with your parent/s who can fill it out this form on your behalf. If you and your parent prefer for you to attend with another adult that can be responsible for you (e.g. an older sibling etc.) then please have one of your parents/guardians register you on their Student In-take Form, nominating an adult person to be responsible for you who is willing to pay to attend our Sunday group class to practice yoga with you.

If mum or dad don't want to submit our school's Student In-take Form on your behalf, you can get the adult to include you on their form, however, that adult will need to upload a letter of consent to their form, which needs to be signed and dated by the minor's legal guardian (and name the minor/s concerned).

Parents don't need to mail the consent letter to us, they can simply take of picture of it and send it to the nominated adult to upload it to their Student In-take Form.

No. Younger members 7-17 years of age can no longer attend this event due to the additional safety risks posed by the excursion. We invite you to email, should you wish to arrange a private Yoga Trekking event for mixed groups of children and adults.

Yes, but only at specially priced Yoga with Nanny events where we have organised for the safe nurturing of groups of 6, 12 and 18 kids. We pool together the cost of a police cleared and professionally screened nanny and offer you a combined adult and child ticket for $22, including the cost of the Nanny (minimum bookings of 4 people required for the event to proceed). The Nanny/ies are under contract to provide professional services utilising the natural environment to nurture the child's experience (rather than giving them plastic toys) allowing the yoga teacher to hold space for the parents attending our Yoga classes, so that a rejuvenating, relaxing experience can be achieved in assurance of the safety of your child/children.

We contract 1 nanny per 6 children and offer you additional children's passes at $10 for each additional child you bring... so for $42, you can bring 3 kids, get a nanny for an hour and have an awesome yoga class outdoors to unplug for 60 minutes, all taken care of by us. We cater for children and infants 1-6 years old at this event.

Please note that Yoga with Nanny is postponed until 2021.

Whatever age you are, enjoy 'being' yoga and exploring your body in a normal setting with a mixed bunch of normal people, without worrying about the show of it all.

If you are a parent, young adult or child concerned about your child or you are unsure about a particular issue you are facing as a parent and want to get support from us, we are here to listen and help in anyway we can, including providing access to youth support workers that we know well and have screened for police and WWC clearances.

A list of crisis support contact options (online chat, website information and phone numbers) now feature on the COMMUNITY DASHBOARD footer of every page of our Website.

Any questions or queries are welcome at the following email: or by calling Will on 0447699871 for more information. An anonymous feedback email has also been set up if you really think there is something we could be doing better, or to submit a complaint or report an incident concerning a minor. You may choose to identify yourself when providing feedback, by emailing our public email. The owners and admins will not ever see any anonymous feedback mailed to or know who sent it, but will receive a summary of the key issues and non-identifying context from our appointed, anonymous representative

CLOSING - To the kids: You are the leaders of tomorrow and will bring this earth further towards a balanced realm of love, creativity and utility, using the evolved ideas and plans you posses. If you are having a hard time with anything in your life, know that people really care and there is support there to listen and help lift you back up. You are HUGELY important in our community and as Lamb quite rightly says "If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito for a night!" Never be afraid to ask for help from your parents, friends and wider family.
