I put together a small entry on how to personalize your MeetUp page at http://bradleyaross.wordpress.com/2014/07/14/personalizing-meetup/. Let me know what you think of it.

This was helpful. As other people mentioned, it may not be used very often, but all it takes is one person to see it and make a connection. I did take the opportunity to make the modifications. Thanks.

At the end of the interview, that went well, in your opinion, and you are interested in the position, should you ask for the job?

I have heard both sides. I think it may somewhat depend on your personality. I am not an aggressive personality, so I won't ask for the job directly, but I will say that I want it and believe that I can excel. Not sure if that is right or not, but I am comfortable with that approach.
