What is your current or desired profession and experience level?

As an experienced, Marketing/Advertising/Business Development professional, I am looking for a new opportunity to apply my skills to help a company and their clients grow. I love creating great solutions for my employers and clients, and being a part of the team that helps them achieve their goals. Marketing Strategy, advertising copy for radio, print or web, ad placement, web creation, advertising sales, new business development, account management, social media and client retention is where I excel.

Why are you interested in joining the group?

To learn about doing a more efficient job search, and networking---and being an encouragement to the group.

What are you hoping to gain from the group?

To increase my professionalism, be part of a team that is searching for jobs for each other, and to network into a long term career opportunity.

What Barry S. is saying about this Meetup Group

I was encouraged to get more recommendations on LinkedIn at another Career Success Group on Monday. I believe one suggestion was to have 6, but not to over do it, and that endorsements are good, but not as important as recommendations. I think Mike would welcome any suggestions for discussion topics for the group.
