What we’re about

The Embroiderers’ Guild of America is an educational organization dedicated to promoting needlework. The Philadelphia Chapter invites interested needleworkers to join us the fourth Wednesday of every month for our membership meeting. We are open to needleworkers of all experience levels , and offer lectures, classes, seminars and many other fun events! The first two meetings are free, there is an annual membership fee after that, which comes with local and national newsletters and access to member only classes and discounts at crafting stores.

This meetup was started to make people aware that we exist, please don't ever be concerned that there aren't a lot of RSVPs on the meetup page. Our normal attendance is 10-15 members who are not on meetup. :)

Our bad weather policy is that if theEasttown-Tredyffrin School District (#854 on KYW) closes school, we will not have a meeting.

Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held at St Luke's Lutheran Church in Devon, PA. Park in the back parking lot and come in the door at the middle of the building. Most months you will find us in Schlack Hall, which will be in front of you as you enter. There is a back room to the Hall, sometimes we are in there instead of the main area if the church has another event happening.
