Great meetup! Thanks to all who came - especially the new members - and shared their projects.

Unless I break something trying to mess with the power I can do a quick demo of making a prop speed up and slow down from a PC. If I need to I can cheat and run an ethernet cable to it and it will heat up slower. No flying yet, no video yet, but Gyro/Accel/Magnet are connected to the Arduino and I have some gyro feedback working. Temp sensor is a bonus with the gyro. I also have a GPS on the ARM returning NEMA data.

I had ideas for both and features that would be easier to implement on each... so I decided to use both. Won't mess with custom FPGA for now. Better Noob setup :-) Wanted analog in anyway. I connected them over a 115K serial connection. Can send commands to both over wifi. Needed about 1 amp of 5V for the ARM and WiFi but didn't calculate that would sink 7 volts as heat making 7 watts. I will try to buy or build a tiny 2A switching power supply and add a voltage divider battery monitor.

Hi Tom. Are you using the Arduino or the ARM board?
