What we're about

Our goal for this meetup is to bring wood enthusiasts together through a mix of free social events and paid workshops and classes, organized by Philly Makerhouse.

Philly Makerhouse is the brainchild of expert woodman Jack Feldman. Founded in 2016 as Jack's personal woodshop, it quickly evolved into a hub for the casual and not-so-casual wood enthusiast. In response to the demand from friends and friends-of-friends for classes, Philly Makerhouse started hosting woodworking classes in 2017.

Makerhouse is a makerspace (but really just a woodshop) for anyone that wants to learn basic woodworking skills, and meet fellow wood aficionados. It's also a creative space where you can get your hands dirty and just build cool stuff.
