Hamster Ball, Zip Lines and Hiking!

  • Jun 14, 2014 · 9:00 AM

Remember sitting in your room as a child staring blankly into your hamsters cage and wondering what all the fuss was about? Here's your chance to find out! The little guy could run forever in a ball without getting dizzy, sick or tired...can you?

We’re going zorbing! What’s zorbing you ask? We'll begin by taking the lift up to the top of the ski slopes and you'll climb into a 11 foot in diameter inflatable ball with a 6 foot inner core. You'll then tumble head first down the ski slopes while being tossed about inside the OGO ball.

There are two options for the ride, H2OGO balls also contain 5 gallons of fresh water so you (and up to two friends ) body surf inside during the ride. The regular (dry) balls have a harness so you're strapped in and upside down as the ball flies down the slope!

NOTE: Maximum rider weight is 275 lbs. Maximum combined weight for up to 3 riders is 550 lbs.

Our package includes unlimited Zorb Rides!!! Plus you will be allowed to try zip lining, a scenic chairlift ride and more!.

Zip Lining - If you have never done it before, or you just like the rush of wind on your face, you can give zip lining a try on any of four 100 foot lines stemming from their tree house tower.

Details: We’ll begin the day on the Appalachian Trail for a moderate hike. Bring a sack lunch as we will be stopping along the way to enjoy the scenery and have lunch. Then, it's off for some hamster ball fun!

Clothing and Equipment: Hiking boots, sun block, raingear, water bottle (there are a few outdoor spigots located at/around the trail head), a bathing suit (for those that choose the H20GO ball) and lunch.

Directions: Directions will be sent to all paid registrants.

Payment: Members must submit payment by check or by credit card via our website to secure a spot at this event. A "yes" RSVP on the meetup site does not secure your spot. Please visit to submit payment.
