Board Games Night - The Legacy Continues on THURSDAY Nov 21st at Irish Times Pub

Friends -

Join us for Bring Your Own Board Games Night on THURSDAY Nov 21st at IRISH TIMES PUB.  If you are like me, then you are probably a big board game fan! I love the classics but I'm always up for learning ones I don't know.

I suggest that those of us bringing board games mention what we are bringing in the "Comments" section below.

IRISH TIMES PUB

Irish Times is a terrific Irish pub that is located at 629 S 2nd Street, at the corner of 2nd & Bainbridge (near South Street).  Its a charming and intimate spot with inexpensive food & drinks, plus plenty of tables for us to set-up at.

see you soon!

Last night was a lot of fun! I'm glad I got to meet some of our new members & congratulations to Thaleia who was the Apples To Apples grand winner!
...btw, what did everyone think about the Irish Times as a new location? The pluses are plenty of table space for us, we practically had our own bartender most of the night, plus inexpensive food & drinks. I also like having the Open Mic so that some of our musically talented members (like Melanie last night sang) might be encouraged to perform in a supportive atmosphere. But what did you all think?

I liked the Irish Times location much better than Headhouse. It was a nice, well lit, roomy area to play games and good selection of beer on tap. It was a small crowd last night but a really, fun crowd! Gina

hi - we usually have about 12 to 15+ people join us for these Games Nights, but this is the first time we are meeting on a Thursday. I also invited several other MeetUp groups to join us so we are expecting more people than have RSVPed here. See you tonight!

Excellent choice for Game Night. The Irish Times is also a client of Restaurant.com, http://www.restaurant.com/theIdealMeal/listing?zip=19103&attr%7cCuisine=American&page=1&attr%7cAlphabetical=I. They offer 3 certificate choices. SLAINTE!!
