Results of June Meetup Question

Hi all,

I've tallied the responses to my question regarding our June Meetup and here they shown below. Most people replied with their 1st and 2nd choices. I gave 2 points to each first choice and 1 point to the 2nd chioce. Anyone who replied with only one choice recieved 2 points for their selection.

King Tut Exhibit = 10

First Friday = 6

Art Museum = 5

Apple Farm Arts Festival = 4

King Tut is the winner with First Friday being a fairly close 2nd choice. So what I have decided to do is have a double event. Those wishing to see the Tut exhibit can do so in the late afternoon or early evening and if they want to head over to First Friday on 2nd and 3rd streets they can hook up with those who only want to attend First Friday.

King Tut is $32.50/ticket for Friday night and can be purchased online. I will provide the link once I get firm commitments for those wishing to attend. Please note that Mon-Thurs tickets are $5.00 less. If those wishing to attend Tut want to save $5.00 and skip First Friday all together, let me know and I'll revise my plans. The exhibit runs all day long. I'm figuring that ealry evening will probably be most convenient for working folks and tickets can be purchased for 5.30 PM thru 8.00 PM time slots. In my double event scenario, it would be best to plan for attending the exhibit on Friday, June 1 and choosing a time that will allow people to get to First Friday by 7.00 PM. Therefore, tickets should be purchased for the 5:30-6:00 PM time slot on the web site.

On the other hand, if people find Tut coordination too difficult, you can opt to see Tut on your own on any day at any time and you are welcome to join us for the First Friday Meetup that will occur regardless. It requires practically no coordination, is free and always seems fun.

So let me hear from the Tut fans out there. You have all the info you need to make up your mind regarding date and times. Give me your suggestions if you don't like mine.

For those wishing to attend First Friday, I'll be sending our an invitation shortly for you to RSVP. As always, it will be at 7:00 pm and we will meet in front of Continental Diner on June 1st.
