improv incubator: 3hrs of scenework [w. philly]

we meet every sunday night, right off Drexel campus.

check our FB for details

Incubator is weekly improv gymnasium, facilitated by Rick Horner and Milkshake for improvisors of all experience levels to work out and keep their skills sharp.
incubator is free, but we appreciate your donations to keep our doors open sunday after sunday. our mission is to make one another look like great performers.

For novices, give your attention to hearing the exercises explained, and your fullest attention to your scene partner. And relax, it's just practice.

For intermediates, come with a challenge for yourself to maintain throughout the proceedings, such as "all my characters will be fully engaged in some meticulous chore while talking to other characters", or "all my characters will speak through the knowledge that they're standing over the shallow graves of their victims".

For performing improvisors, shoot us some questions about what to expect, or some suggestions of exercises you'd like to do. Get it to us well in advance and you could be dictating the whole evening.

here it is another sunday is upon us and yet another snow storm, nor easter, clipper, whatever they call em now, has come and gone and come and gone. I am beginning to think someone up there is laughing at my attempts to get out of the house-
yes cabin fever has set in and I am entertaining those at the local shops before each storm with little stories. I could use an outlet before they begin to have security block me from entering Big Lots, me pounding on the door, shouting they just have to hear the story that goes with the photo of my pup(or graindchild) they MUST see :D
no, really, the cabin fever isnt so bad

its a wait and see for me!
be well and be safe all

Hi, could you please tell me what the parking is like there? Is it a paid lot, meters, free, etc. Coming from the burbs and not familiar with that area. Thanks!
