Max Project Session - How Can I Help You?

Announcing a new event at the Dept of Making + Doing! Max (sometimes known as Max/MSP/Jitter) is a graphical programming environment — an application that allows you to create your own software, using a toolkit of user interface objects. This is an event to work on projects in Max, and get beyond what is possible to learn via the online tutorials provided at http://cycling74.com/products/max/.
Our instructor, Ashley John Pigford, is a designer operating at the intersection of technology and typography with some years of experience working with Max/MSP. He teaches in University of Delaware’s Department of Art – a second career after running a design studio in Los Angeles.
Ashley is donating his time for this workshop. We are allowing only 5 slots for this event, to provide plenty of one-on-one time with Ashley, and charging a nominal fee of $5 to encourage people to show up on a potentially sunny summer day. If you're interested, read more and register here: http://thehacktory.ticketleap.com/max-project-session-july/

Ashley, I really wish I could attend this but I have prior commitments. $5 and a 5 person class is just an amazing opportunity! Please do it again when everyone's not on vacation! :-)

Hi Chris, I'll let Ashley know. I think he's definitely interested in doing it again, but it's easier to schedule with him now when he's not teaching in Delaware.
