    Enjoy A vacation In less than a Day:

    Our thoughts have a profound impact on the body and its response to stress and self image.  Every human experiences anxiety, depression, anger, envy, grief and depression.  Our society emphasizes these emotions in the news stories we hear each day.  However we each have equal capacity to feel love, joy, gratitude, compassion courage and a sense of wellbeing.  What people forget is that we were intended to feel these emotions as much as the negative ones.  There is no need to carry around a tension in the body that leads to dis-ease.

    Attend this three hour therapeutic and restorative workshop;  Appropriate for individuals of all ages who struggle with anxiety, depression, mood swings and the winter blues.  

    In this workshop participants will learn

    *how to change how you feel by changing how you breathe.

    * 6 different breathing techniques that will transform distress into eustress in less than a minute.  Each breathing method will target releasing tension and negative emotion and replacing it with a range of outcomes ranging fro a sense of calm peacefulness to liveliness.


    * Learn simple  therapeutic and restorative postures that lead to rejuvenation while gently but efficiently healing the body over time.  Healing opportunities increase as one learns how to integrate the openness in the body created by movement while focusing on one's breath.

    * Postures specific to Tao Yin practice are integrated with the breath  while individuals learn how to release deeply into a pose.  This workshop will be performed primarily on the floor.  Please feel free to bring a blanket, or prop to sit on.  If you would like to have a chair, this is not a problem. Kindly let us know so we can protect the wooden floors.
