Our upcoming meeting on Thursday Februry 20th starts at 6:30 PM. It is a two hour session. Here’s the agenda:
20 minutes: another philosophical test; this test is quite unlike the last test but still attempts to discover our philosophical direction.
10 minutes for an explanation of a passage from Chapter 2 of Descartes Meditation. I want to finish it!
45 minutes for a discussion on Applicology and 45 minutes for a discussion on Faith and Atheism.
Currently, I’m looking over all the comments in our discussions on Applicology and Faith and Atheism on the site. I thought we’d take excerpts from ourselves to get a better look at ourselves; look at how we are thinking, how we are understanding, what we are seeking in these discussions. What pulls us together. What pulls us apart.
Maybe we even want to consider guidelines for our discussions; "so they may blossom and not bet eaten by caterpillars" (Shakespeare).
