February's meetup we will learn about modern application and infrastructure delivery processes using Spinnaker from the professionals at Armory.io.
Spinnaker Basics: How to Enable Safe, Fast Deployments to the Cloud
When people first learn about Spinnaker and are building pipelines, they start with something extremely basic. When your pipeline is too basic, it's hard to see how to build a production level pipeline. This presentation will show you how to build a pipelines that is triggered off of a Docker image being updated and then deployed to Kubernetes.
Brandon Powell is a software engineer at Armory. He's part of a team that operationalizes Spinnaker, the open-source project from Netflix and Google, in Global 2,000 enterprises.
Deploying to Kubernetes with Spinnaker
Kubernetes is largely becoming the preferred container orchestration in hybrid cloud environments. Spinnaker has a deep integration with Kubernetes and this talk will describe exactly how to deploy your cloud workloads into K8s clusters.
Cameron Motevasselani is a Software Engineer at Armory where he focuses on backend systems development. Prior to Armory, he worked in similar roles in both Digital Health and Email Security.
