What we're about

Are you interested in thoughtful and lively discussions about craft and philosophy of software development? Join our meetup and add your unique voice and experience! We have plenty of space, so bring a friend or coworker, too.

How does it work?

We meet every other week on Wednesday nights from 7pm to 9pm. In between meetings, we read an agreed upon portion of the book on our own, then meet in another two weeks to discuss what we've read. Occasionally, when the topic lends itself, we take turns presenting.

Is the group right for you?

You should review the list of our previously read books (https://www.meetup.com/Phoenix-Software-Engineering-Reading-Group/pages/Past_Books/) and judge your skill and experience accordingly. If you are new to programming or are a student, you may be better served by a study group made of your peers.

Should you wait until we start a new book?

It depends on the book. But, really, it’s up to you.
