Hi Carmen, I'm running to the store tonight & I can go back tomorrow if there's anything you need! Sounds like we're gonna have a wonderful feast!

Hi Trilene, welcome to the Thanksgiving event, should be fun. A stuffed baguette sounds great and anything with grapes is yummy too! :)

Doug and Carmen, thanks for organizing and hosting. I've been watching the food conversation, thought there was a note here from me about cranberries. But its nowhere in sight. Well now you know. I'll bring cranberry salad, one with low sugar and a sweet one too. Do you need anything else? Or would something different be better? I'm flexible.

Thanks Maria, It'll be a blast. Carmen, I know I mentioned 3 things that I can bring but if you want me to change it let me know, I'm very flexible & haven't shopped yet. I'd be more than happy to bring anything that you need!

Hey Pam, its cool that you like to Karaoke too. :-) People always find it daunting at first and think that one has to sound like a pro but when someone in the group starts summoning up their guts it oftentimes becomes a challenge to get to the mic for a turn. I look forward to seeing you!
Carmen> Don't keep your expectations too high that way there is less pressure for me. ;-) You're a blessing to me too. Till then!

Tentative food I'll bring: Vietnamese Spring Rolls/ Filipino Egg Rolls (either one or both); Cassava Cake (Filipino)
For entertainment: Portable Karaoke, Zumba dvds, dance music on my Iphone (in case anyone gets in the mood to sing, Zumba, or disco dance)

Thanks Carmen for hosting this event at your home. That is sweet of you. I think your intent to offer to the members of our group a venue to celebrate Thanksgiving as part of our bigger Christian "family" is quite sweet and laudable. Much thanks!
