What kind of paddling experience do you have?

Pretty much self-taught. Started out working as a mountain bike guide with High Sonoran Adventures who also offered kayak trips. I learned to kayak while on the job and was soon leading kayaking trips on Lake Pleasant & Saghuaro for groups of 50 or more. Loved it and bought my own kayak. I try to get out whenever I can. I have never kayaked at night, but would love to try it. I think the longest distance I have ever paddled was maybe 10 miles?? I'm a little out of shape right now, so I don't think I could go that far now.

What kind of kayaks and canoes do you have?

2 narrow 13+ feet sit-on-tops which we use, and 2 shorter, fatter sit-on tops (nicknamed the "fat boys"), which we don't.

River, Lake, Ocean or all?

Lake only. Have never done ocean or river. Have done Lake Pleasant, Saghauro, Bartlett, Canyon. Also Watson Lake in Prescott

Married, no children. Former in-line speed skater, competitive cyclist & tri-athlete. Currently enjoy road & mountain biking (recreational only), hiking, swimming, racquetball and of course kayaking! Am retired, so free to go anytime.
