• Great opportunities for street portrait photography in bustling markets..
• The tour is around three hours, with a break for hot drinks en route. This is very different from a regular guided walk, we will be combining photographic perspectives & playing with creative techniques with historical narrative as you compose your shots in streets that haven't changed that much since 1888..
This was a time where in five short months of the summer of 1888 The East End of London was terrorized by the most brutal & horrific slaughter of a series of women, forced by poverty to ply a meager trade as prostitutes.
View of derelict houses - how it was " then " ITCHY PARK
A summer which the City of London would never forget...
The manner of butchery that became associated with one man, his name leaves little to the imagination of what he did to his poor victims - perhaps the most infamous serial killer, who the public have come to call JACK THE RIPPER.
Black & white or sepia photography is particularly atmospheric in these winding enclosed streets -although now in the midst of some amazing modern architecture - its not difficult to imagine how the ripper lay in wait for his victim as it was back in 1888.
Not for the faint hearted... Coming ? RAIN OR SHINE - A GREAT MORNING OUT.
