This workshop is aimed at the beginner who wants to learn how to use their DSLR to get consistently great photographs by understanding the basic principles of photography.
During COURSE 1, I will teach you an introduction to your camera. We'll be looking at all of the controls and learning how they all work together to create the correct exposure. By learning the very basics of your camera, you'll be able to produce consistently great photos.
After a quick break, we'll put what we've learned into practice and take some photographs during a practical exercise. We'll then upload them to a computer and have a look at our results (but only if you're happy for us to see them!).
The lessons will take place in my cosy studio in Waterloo:
You'll need to bring your DSLR camera, a memory card and a full battery. I'll provide everything else, including coffee and tea and some refreshments.
We have a cafe on-site that offers freshly made, vegan food made from products grown in allotments in the garden. Alternatively, please bring your own food for lunch.
The session will start at 11am and finish approximately 2.30pm.
Cost: £35 per person.
Payment can be made via PayPal or in cash on the day.

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
