Same idea, alternate date. I can't make the rodeo meetup on 3/6 due to a schedule conflict so I'm going this Saturday. It would be great to have some other members join me. I've been watching the weather and it looks good. We will meet at 5:45 PM. Explore the fairgrounds at 6, shoot like crazy during the blue hour from around 6:15 till 7:15, then chill and have some fun! Sunset will be about 6:30 PM that night. I'll be focused on long exposure of carnival rides with my camera mounted to a tripod. There is also the livestock area and music stage that you can shoot for free. Of course you can arrive anytime during the day you want, the fair opens at 11 AM. If your around at 5:45 PM come and join the group, assuming anyone else signs up for this. I'll be there anyway. If you go some other time or day during the week feel free to post your photos here.

The Austin Rodeo is coming up on March 1 - 16th. Last year we went and had a great time. I remember Tracy had a little lesson on doing Night or Long Exposure Photography. I prefer to go on a weekday night because the buses run later, but if the club decides to go on a weekend maybe I can go, get pictures and post them to the site.

This will be as previous years we will meet as a group and learn long and night exposures for the rides. We can stay as a group or split up

It's always fun and way too many things to photograph in one visit

Tripods, cable or remote release ( or use your timer) sturdy comfy shoes for walking. There is allot of it. Know your manual settings if at all possible for the long exposures

Everyone is welcome
