No matter if you are an Amateur or a thirty year professional photographer, we all share a passion to create photographs. So lets get together and share this passion.

The intent of this group is have photographers of all skill levels to get together, socialize, share our interest, learn from each other and just get out and have fun taking photographs. We want this group be very active by having multiple photo shoots each month. So if you like to take photos please join us.

It doesn't matter if you have a point and shoot, DSLR, or even a disposible camera, if you can take a photo you qualify to join this group. Just remember your not a better photographer just because you bought an expensive camera. Photographers have won competitions with cheap disposable cameras.

We have no intent of making money from our members and events will be free unless the venue require a fee (i.e. entree fees, food, etc.)

You will also notice that some of our meetups will be joining other meetup groups. We are working on relationships with the other meetup groups so that we can build on the Austin area photographic community.
