A healthy 1.2 miles hike from Alpine road to the Stanford dish around sunset. Carry water, wear warm clothes and camera.

The solar panels, antennas and other parts of the satellite reflect sunlight as they pass above us. These flares can be seen even from the city lights in the evening. Iridium and ISS are the most commonly watched by many people around the world.
