Building on the knowledge gained in Part 1 of our Studio Lighting Workshop, here is part 2!
From part one you already know how to use a light meter, position lights and work with white and black backgrounds.
We'll do a quick recap of the above, and then cover:
- Use of a grey background
- Creating the effect of movement in the studio
- Using coloured gels
- Creative lighting techniques
- Recreating images from magazines.
You will need a digital SLR camera with manual mode and need to know how to set ISO, aperture and shutter speed. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to shoot during the workshop and you can use the images in your portfolio. The workshop is run by a professional portrait and music photographer, in a photography studio with a female model and lasts for 3 hours.
Please bring some studio images that you've seen in magazines of on line. We'll attempt to recreate these.
