Southbank Night Photography Session

Explore the Southbank by night with your camera and a 36exp tutor.

We will work on the following techniques to improve your night and low light photography:

Metering in spot and matrix modes, plus manual metering.

Exposing for highlights and shadows

Capturing light trails and movement

Composing with light

We will explore the Southbank and shoot the millennium wheel, Thames, bridges, buildings, Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge and St Paul's. Plus everything in between. Tripod not essential but something to rest your camera on or mini flexible tripod very useful.

    Hi,
I am keen to attend this session but wondered what level of photography skills would be required as a prerequisite. I'm fairly new to photography still and not sure whether this will be suitable for me.
    Thanks,
    Kym

Hi, you'll need to have an understanding of how to change shutter speed, ISO and aperture, and what those things do.
