Here is the update:
I've checked with the Abbey, they easily can handle even large groups of more than 60 persons.
Where we meet in Gent:
We will meet at the entrance of the expo at 10:30, please be on time, if we are more than 14 persons, we will get a group discount. Have 4.50€ in change ready.
Taking pictures in the expo area is not permitted but allowed in other parts (check the web-site for details).
It will take around 1,5 to 2 hours to see the expo. There is a restaurant inside the Abbey if you need refreshment.
We will re-join at 12:30 at the entrance and have a stroll through Gent.
To get there:
For those who take the train from Brussels, we meet at 09:10 in front of Starbucks at Gare Central Brussels. We will take the train departing 09:17 at platform 2, arriving in Gent at 09:53.
From the Station Gand-Saint-Pierre in Gent it is a 20 minutes walk through the Citadelpark.
Car: use the discussion for pooling arrangements
The meetup is free of charge but you may share some of your knowledge ;-)
The return train ticket Brussels / Gent is 10€ (weekend)
The admission price for the expo is between 2€ (for young people under 26) and 6€ normal rate, for groups over 15 it is 4.50€ pp. Bring some change.
