  • Hi Candy,  June 2016

I would like to change our days and times on the Pickleball Meetup group to the following:

    Beginning Pickleball Class

    Wednesday 7-8pm

    Lincoln Village Park Tennis Courts

Please Register in advance prior to attending the class.

    http://apm.activecommunities.com/crpd/Activity_Search/3130

We had an interest going with Pickleball then winter came and we lost interest. Kate is starting a beginning class so we will just try to get the word out and hopefully get people back involved. Our other meet up times can also be removed from the Meetup group. I hope the bay area is treating you well. It looks like pickleball is exploding down there.

    Old information...

    Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center

Easy to learn whether you’re five, eighty five, or somewhere in between. The game is played on a badminton-sized court with special paddles and a plastic ball that is slightly smaller than a wiffle ball. The lower net and lightweight ball make the game accessible for beginning through advanced players. Learn more and find rules on the USA Pickleball Association website: www.usapa.org. During fall and winter months, court times are open dawn to dusk, as the courts are not lighted. Paddles and balls are available to rent for $1 at the Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center.

Lincoln Village Community Park • 3480 Routier Rd

    Mondays/Wednesdays • 5-8PM

    Tuesdays/Thursday • 9AM–12PM
